Domestic  Violence Laws
Press Room

Domestic violence is a hard issue to investigate and a complicated one to report. Yet increasingly, reporters are getting the message out that domestic violence is a crime and that there is help for victims. We recognize the importance that media can play in raising awareness about domestic violence. Our communications team is on call to answer media questions and help guide reporters to essential resources necessary to develop a story.

If it is after business hours, and you are working on deadline, please call our hotline at 1.800.494.8100. They will immediately contact Nicole Lagace, our Director of Public Relations, or Marissa Mitchner, our Communications Coordinator. Your call will be promptly returned.

Reporters can make a difference in the lives of victims by lifting the veil of silence that allows domestic violence to go unchecked to the point of murder. We look forward to working with you.
