The Women's Resource Center is currently seeking licensed clinicians as they seek to expand their outpatient counseling services to adults, adolescents and children who have been affected by domestic violence.
Clinicians who specialize exclusively in counseling either adults or children will be considered, but the ideal candidate will be able to work with all ages. Experience working with domestic violence issues is a strong plus.
The WRC is seeking Rhode Island independently licensed (LICSW, LMHC, PhD, LMFT, etc.) applicants but will consider quality applicants seeking hours toward their independent licenses. Office space is available in several locations, and the candidate will be able to schedule at her or his convenience, including on weekends and evenings.
A minimum of two years' experience in a counseling setting is required, and fluency in languages other than English is a plus.
The Women's Resource Center is an Equal Opportunity Employer. The organization does not discriminate against volunteers, employees or applicants regarding conditions or opportunities for employment on the basis of race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, disability, age or country of ancestral origin.
Compensation: WRC clinicians receive a competitive rate of reimbursement with a minimal amount of paperwork requirements. WRC clinicians are generously reimbursed for services provided to clients without insurance as well at those who are insured. Agency support staff will manage billing and credentialing paperwork as well as 24-hour phone crisis coverage. Comfortable office space is available at all locations. Supervision and financial support for CEUs/trainings are available to all clinicians. Benefits are available should this per diem position transition to a full-time position.
