Below are a list of organizations and resources that may be helpful as you navigate housing needs. Please refer back to this site often, as we continue to update this page.

  • If you need emergency shelter, please contact one of our full member agencies or call the Coordinated Entry System (CES) hotline for a general homeless shelter: 401-277-4316
  • The Rhode Island Coalition for the Homeless generated a list of community resources available to you, updated regularly.

If you are in immediate danger, please call 911. If you are unable to call, you can text 911. By including your location address in your text, first responders will be notified of where to reach you.

  • During this time of uncertainty and required in-home learning, Cox is offering discounted internet service through the Connect2Compete program to families in need.

Food Resources

  • Food Sites for Children lists free “grab and go” sites across the state for youth ages 18 and under.
  • Rhode Island Community Food Bank lists local food assistance by location.
  • RI Delivers is a site that provides information on which markets, grocery stores, and restaurants offer delivery services if you are unable to leave your home.
