Presenter: Kimberly Harris - Rhode Island Coalition Against Human Trafficking
This training will primarily focus on treatment and advocacy approaches for commercially sexually exploited victims. By the end of this training, participants will have learned recommended treatment approaches for trafficked victims and how to report suspected sex-trafficking. Along with an increased knowledge about commercial sexual exploitation and its impact on women and children, obtain a general understanding of the RI Human Trafficking Law and the Affirmative Defense provision in the RI Prostitution Law.
