What is Domestic Violence? How does it affect men, women and children in heterosexual and same-sex relationships? How does it impact children who witness domestic violence? Learn about power and control in relationships, the cycle of violence, barriers to leaving and available community resources. Participants will also have the opportunity to practice responding to victims as well as learn to identify and debunk myths about the causes of domestic violence. This core training is the foundation for anyone who will be working directly or indirectly with victims of domestic abuse. CEUs will be provided.
