What is domestic violence? How does it affect women, men and children? How does it impact children who witness? Learn about the cycle of violence, power and control in relationships, barriers to leaving, and available community resources. Participants will have the opportunity to practice responding to victims and will learn to identify and debunk myths about domestic violence. This core training provides a foundation for anyone working directly or indirectly with victims of domestic abuse. CEUs will be provided.
