There is no registration fee for staff members or volunteers from SOAR, Day One, or the RICADV's member agencies (Blackstone Valley Advocacy Center, Domestic Violence Resource Center of South County, Elizabeth Buffum Chace Center, Sojourner House, Women's Center of RI, and Women's Resource Center).

If you are not a staff member or volunteer with one of these agencies, please proceed to the secure online payment site after completing the registration form in order to submit your training fee.

Did you know that 25-33% of the LGBTQ community experiences intimate partner violence? For bisexual women, one of the most highly victimized groups, their abusers are overwhelmingly male, and these victims are often wrongfully labeled "straight" by domestic violence agencies. With the recent passage of a more inclusive Violence Against Women Act, it is more important than ever to ensure that providers can offer competent services to LGBTQ victims. Join us to learn more about how to best serve this population.
