We're excited to invite you to the return of the award-winning play about domestic violence, hope and survival, Behind Closed Doors. Performed and written by survivors of domestic violence from SOAR (Sisters Overcoming Abusive Relationships), a task force of the RICADV, the play weaves together the struggles and victories they endured in a narrative that takes us on their collective journeys
from victims to survivors.

to End Domestic Violence

DVAM Launch Press Conference on October 1

You're invited to our press conference kick-off for Domestic Violence Awareness Month on October 1 at 10 a.m. in the State House bell area. Find out what Senator Jack Reed, Senator Sheldon Whitehouse, Congressman Jim Langevin, Congressman David Cicilline and Attorney General Peter Kilmartin are doing to end domestic violence. Experience a special preview performance of the survivor-written and performed SOAR play, "Behind Closed Doors," to be held at the Trinity Repertory Dowling Theater later in October.

During the month of October, RICADV and its member agencies will host many events designed to educate our community and ask everyone to say NO MORE to domestic violence and sexual assault. Visit us regularly for updates to our DVAM calendar and other news.
