Responding to the State of Emergency issued by Governor Lincoln Chafee, "the offices of Rhode Island Coalition Against Domestic Violence will be closed on Monday, October 29, 2012" said RICADV Executive Director, Deborah DeBare. The emergency declaration and subsequent closure by RICADV is linked to the potential problems predicted with the arrival of Hurricane Sandy to the East Coast shoreline.
Those needing help immediately should call 911 for safety/emergencies or 211 for questions about how to prepare or recover from Sandy.
