On February 25, 2016, the Rhode Island Coalition Against Domestic Violence (RICADV) released Domestic Violence Homicides in Rhode Island, 2006-2015, a first-of-its-kind report for the State of Rhode Island. The report contains key findings, homicide incident descriptions, and recommendations for preventing future domestic violence homicides in Rhode Island.
In the devastating wake of these tragedies, there are steps Rhode Island can and must take to protect victims of domestic violence, hold abusers accountable, and, ultimately, save lives.
