Many thanks to all the supporters who turned out to Kennedy Plaza this Saturday to help us raise awareness about Teen Dating Violence Awareness & Prevention Month! We had a fantastic turnout -- over 50 people danced to the Glee Cast's mashup of "Survivor/ I Will Survive" to show their support for the cause. February is Teen Dating Violence Awareness and Prevention Month

This Friday, Governor Lincoln Chafee is helping us kick off Teen Dating Violence Awareness and Prevention Month with a Gubernatorial Proclamation. With Day One, the Lindsay Ann Burke Memorial Fund, the Katie Brown Educational Project and our six member agencies, the RICADV will be presenting Champions for Change Awards to Senator Sheldon Whitehouse, Senator Beatrice Lanzi among others.

Please join us to launch Teen Dating Violence Awareness and Prevention Month this Friday, February 3 at 1:30 pm in the State Room at the RI State House.
