The purpose of the Rhode Island Coalition Against Domestic Violence is to eliminate domestic violence in Rhode Island. Our mission is to support and enhance the work of our member agencies and to provide leadership on the issue of domestic violence.
Survey of Dometic Violence Victims Going Through the Child Custody and Visitation Process
The Coalition's taskforce of survivors, SOAR, is working to identify strengths and gaps in the child custody and visitation process, and how the gaps affect victims of domestic violence and their children. If you are a domestic violence victim who has children and is or has been involved in a custody and/or visitation case in Rhode Island, please help us by taking this survey. It is CONFIDENTIAL, no name or identification is required, and should take about 15 minutes to complete.

Survey of South Asian Women
The Rhode Island Coalition Against Domestic Violence is working with Cyra Patel, a student at Brown University, to learn about South Asian women’s perceptions of gender roles in marriage. If you are a woman originally from South Asia, are 18 years or older and live in Rhode Island, then you are eligible to participate in this survey. It should take no longer than 10 minutes of your time. The survey is anonymous and your responses will be kept confidential.
